About Us

The SOS mission is "Igniting youth through holistic educational programs to become leaders for their local and global community". To date, SOS is present on 25 campuses across Canada that have raised over $2.5M to support this mission. Globally, SOS facilitates outreach projects that help increase accessibility to education in communities of Latin America, including construction of classrooms and nutritional education. Over 225 projects have been completed with over 1500 outreach volunteers. Locally, the Windsor SOS Chapter works towards this mission through several fundraising initiatives, most notably through offering fully student-lead exam-aid tutoring sessions for over 50 courses annually. Currently, the Windsor Chapter is among the largest in Canada with over 150 student volunteers from all faculties working towards this goal.
